It’s time to treat yourself without breaking the bank.

Right in the heart of the West End you’ll find Abu Ali [map] , George Street, which specialises in Middle Eastern cuisine. So, if you’re self-catering this is the perfect way to get out of the kitchen and start enjoying the cuisine too.

For Persian food try the elegant Alounak [map], located at Russell Gardens. Persian cuisine fuses a range of succulent and fresh meat with aromatic herbs and spices to create a unique dish. The comfortable surroundings of Alounak make for a relaxing and ambient evening experience.

Vegetarians and meat-eaters alike are sure to find something tempting on the menu offered at Billy Joe’s [map], Uxbridge Road, West Ealing, which is a Tex-Mex restaurant that oozes mid-west style. For something altogether more sedate soak up the atmosphere at Café Du Libam [map], Edgeware Road, Bayswater, which is a Lebanese restaurant offering a range of tempting meals, primarily from the grill. Again, this would make an interesting venue for a relaxed party.

If you’re looking for a café with that extra touch of class head to Café Trinity [map], Bedford Park Corner, Chiswick. Locally known for offering the best coffee in the area, Café Trinity also has an imaginative collection of fresh sandwiches, and a range of tempting cakes and patisseries. Eat in and soak up the ambient atmosphere.

Finding a quality Indian cuisine that offers reasonable prices is sometimes difficult. Thankfully, Chillies [map] comes to the rescue offering a fantastic dining experience that won’t leave you out of pocket. Located at Harrow Road, Maida Vale, W9, this bright and cosy restaurant offers traditional dishes cooked in a traditional way. Enjoy an authentic taste of India and try some scrumptious ice cream to round off your excellent meal.
