Train Travel in Norwich

Travelling to Norwich by train offers welcome relief from the stresses of driving, and with East Anglia’s scenic countryside and frequent trains from most major cities, it is a pleasant, reliable and fast experience too.

Norwich train station [map] is conveniently located just a few minutes walk away from the main city centre attractions, so you don’t have to wander far to see the sights.

One Anglia Trains is the main operator providing half-hourly Intercity services to and from London Liverpool Street seven days a week. The average journey time from London is just under two hours and this service also calls at Ipswich and Cambridge.

Central Trains also provide services from the Midlands and North of England, with hourly direct services from Manchester and Liverpool, and more frequent ones from Birmingham, Peterborough and Cambridge. You can get connections to many other cities from London and Peterborough.
